(ANSA) - ROME, JAN 14 - Italy's only major winner, 2018 Open
winner Francsco Molinari, came fifth in the Dubai Invitational
after a blistering final round of 63, eight under par and the
best of the day.
The Turin player bagged seven birdies to end up on 15 under,
four behind winner Tommy Fleetwood, in his best recent
performance after a dry spell.
The Englishman held off challenges from Northern Irish star Rory
McIlroy and South Africa's Thriston Lawrence, who both carded
under 18 266s, one behind Fleetwood's 265.
It was Fleetwood's seventh success on the DP World Tour.
Italian number one Guido Migliozzi came 13th. (ANSA).
