A doctor charged with manslaughter
after a 22-year-old Siracusa woman died after having a nose job
at his Roman clinic had filed certificates in 2009 saying the
facility would only perform pre- or post-operation procedures,
investigators said Saturday.
The woman, Margaret Spada, died in a Rome hospital four days
after having the rhinoplasty at the beauty centre, which she
found on the Web.
The doctor said in his 2009 self-certificate that he was a
specialist in plastic surgery.
