Ferrari on Thursday wound up its test
runs in Barcelona and revealed the name of its 2025 race car,
SF-25, a day after seven-time world champ and new Ferrarista
Lewis Hamilton had his first crash in a test Rossa.
A three-day TPC (Testing previous cars) for the Maranello team
on the circuit near Barcelona ended with the track tests of
Antonio Giovinazzi and Dino Beganovic.
The Italian drove in the morning while in the afternoon it was
the opportunity for the Swede to experience the first day of
testing on an F1 single-seater.
Also today, the Maranello team revealed the name of the new
single-seater for the 2025 World Championship: it will be the
SF-25, in the name of continuity with the previous cars.
And with the SF-24, the single-seater from last year's World
Championship, Ferrari will return to the track in Catalonia on
February 4 and 5 for other tests, those for the Pirelli tires.
The new single-seater from the Prancing Horse will be unveiled
on February 19 in Fiorano, the day after one of the big
novelties of 2025, namely the presentation by all the Formula 1
teams of their liveries at the O2 London.
An event that will celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Circus
that today made official the details of the new partnership,
already announced last October, with the giant Louis Vuitton
after the end of the sponsorship with the Italian sparkling wine
Ferrari.
