President Sergio Mattarella on
Wednesday said the judiciary's self-governing body the Supreme
Council of Magistrates (CSM), of which he is titular head, must
be timely in its decisions.
"I would like to renew to the Council my hope to proceed with
commitment by promptly taking its decisions always guaranteeing
the independence of the judiciary", he said at a CSM session.
