A group of anarchists has claimed
responsibility via an online post for the planting of an
incendiary device at a lecture hall of the University of
Perugia's Faculty of Science for Investigation and Security in
the Umbrian town of Narni.
The device was spotted on Monday afternoon and Carabinieri
police immediately intervened with sniffer dogs and
anti-terrorist officers and removed it.
Sources said a terrorism probe has been launched as the
investigators consider the anarchist claim to be credible.
