The spread between Italy's 10-year
BTP bond and the German Bund crossed 150-basis-points mark again
in early trading on Friday, amid tension on the bond market
after last week's European elections.
The spread rose to 151.2 basis points, up from 146.6 at
Thursday's close, with the yield on the BTP up to 3.94% from
3.93%.
