The Bank of Italy said Monday that
Italy's GDP growth is set to come in at 0.8% this year when the
effects of statistics agency Istat's revision of recent national
accounts data are taken into account.
Sergio Nicoletti Altimari, head of the Bank of Italy's economics
and statistics department, said that this was 0.2 of the
percentage point down with respect to the figure in the
government's structural budget plan (PSB).
