Economy Minister Giancarlo Giorgetti
met in Washington, on the sidelines of the International
Monetary Fund's work Friday, with rating agencies Fitch, Moody's
and S&P, sources close to the Treasury said.
Giorgetti last Saturday said the judgement of rating agencies
was the result of the government's responsible action after
Fitch lifted its outlook to positive and S&P Global confirmed
its rating on Italy
at 'BBB' and left the outlook at 'stable' on Friday.
