Jeff Bezos and his fiancée Lauren
Sanchez will get married in Venice in June, the New York Post
said Monday.
The 61-year-old founder and boss of Amazon has finally set the
date and location for the fateful "I do" with the 55-year-old
television journalist who in 2018 replaced the tycoon's first
wife MacKenzie Scott, the tabloid said.
According to the Post, the wedding will be celebrated in the
waters of the Lagoon aboard the Koru, the same $500 million
mega-yacht on which Jeff and Lauren celebrated their engagement
off the coast of Positano in August 2023 with distinguished
guests of honor including Leonardo DiCaprio, Tobey Maguire,
Andrew Garfield, Queen Rania of Jordan, Kris Jenner and Bill
Gates.
The invitations have reportedly gone out, but it's unclear what
the caliber of the upcoming party will be, and whether it will
interfere with Bezos's plan to fly his future wife on one of the
Blue Origin rockets with an all-female crew that would also
include singer Katy Perry and CBS anchor Gayle King.
The 31st mission of New Shepard and its space "explorers" was
scheduled for this spring.
