Italy's gas stocks were running at
68% on Wednesday morning, the CEO of gas-network company SNAM
Stefano Venier said.
"We are slightly above the European average and this gives us an
advantage over other European countries", he explained.
"We are on the higher end of the average" recorded over the
"past five years but it's hard to make a forecast before March,
it depends on how cold it will be", continued Venier, adding
that, like in other European countries, climate affects
inventories in Italy.
