Some 15 million Italians are going on
holiday in June, a survey by hotel group Federalberghi said
Friday.
Some 19.9% of Italians waited until the end of school term
Friday to take a holiday in June, the survey said.
In fact, 15.1 million Italians will be travelling in the month
and of these, 8.7 million are families taking their children or
grandchildren on holiday.
Some 90.1% of respondents will stay in Italy, while 8.2% will
choose a foreign location.
Tourism is confirmed as an exceptional driver for the local
economy, creating a turnover of 10 billion euro, Federalberghi
said.
