The Italian Ambassador to Doha, Paolo Toschi, met this morning with the Director General of Qatar News Agency, the main Qatari news agency, Ahmad Saeed Al Romaihi. The focus of the meeting was on bilateral cooperation in the field of information, in a regional context in which Doha is increasingly characterised as a crossroads of real-time news thanks to its diplomatic activism and the development of its main press organs, also in a technological and new media sense. The ambassador and the director general also discussed the possibility of integrating the Italian language into the agency's content as well as the possibilities of cooperation with Italian counterparts in the world of information.
