The 'Concert and Conversation on Italian Opera' was held in Delhi, a special event dedicated to opera by the Italian Embassy in India, in collaboration with the Neemrana Music Foundation, and with the participation of Italian tenor and singing master Massimo Iannone.
Under Iannone's direction, in Delhi at the invitation of the Neemrana Foundation, the institution for the promotion of belcanto in India, founded by Francis Wacziarg and led today by his daughter Aude Priya Wacziarg Engel, the young interpreters of the Neemrana Academy performed classics of the Italian repertoire, interpreting arias by Verdi, Puccini, and Donizetti.
The much applauded concert was hosted in the premises of the Italian Cultural Institute.
