The Serie A fixture between Bologna
and AC Milan, scheduled for Saturday at 6:00 p.m., has been
postponed to a date to be determined, the Lega Serie A said
after Thursday's initial cancellation by the mayor of Bologna
due to an extreme-weather alert in the Emilian capital.
Mayor Matteo Lepore on Thursday signed an order ruling that the
match will not take place because of forecasts of torrential
rain.
The city and other parts of Emilia Romagna are still picking up
the pieces after last weekend's devastating floods, which
claimed one life.
The district that hosts the stadium was among those worst
affected by Saturday night's flooding.
