AS Roma legend and former Italy
forward Francesco Totti said Sunday talk of his making a
sensational return to football at the age of 48 is not a joke.
"Two clubs are interested", said the 2006 World Cup-winner, who
retired from the game in 2017.
In an interview on the sidelines of the Miami stage of the 'EA
World Legends Padel Tour', the former Giallorossi captain said:
"No, it's absolutely not a joke. "We need to see what my head
and body tell me.
"My head already knows the answer while we'll have to see how my
body reacts.
"There are two teams, who knows what the coming year can bring
us.
"Will you see me first on the court at the World Legends Padel
Tour finals or in Serie A?
"Difficult question.
"I can say that I have time to play the padel finals, since it's
the end of November.
"For football, two months of training are needed".
