Atalanta made sure at least of a
place in the Champions League playoffs and gave themselves a
good chance of direct qualification for the last 16 by thrashing
Sturm Graz 5-0 in on Tuesday.
Mateo Retegui, Mario Pasalic, Charles De Ketelaere, Ademola
Lookman and Marco Brescianini were on target for the Europa
League champions, who have 14 points from seven games and are
provisionally fourth in the table ahead of the results of
Wednesday's matches.
Juventus also look set to at least make the playoffs despite
being held to a goalless draw at Club Brugge.
The Turin giants are 14th with 12 points.
Bologna came from behind to beat Borussia Dortmund 2-1 at home
thanks to goals by substitutes Thijs Dallinga and Samuel
Iling-Junior and notch their first-ever victory in the Champions
League.
Despite the win, their campaign is set to end at the league
stage as they are 27th with just five points.
On Wednesday AC Milan, who are 15th with 12 points, take on
Girona at San Siro, while Inter, who are seventh with 13 points,
visit Sparta Prague.
