The 25th stage of Villaggio Italia, the traveling expo on Italian excellence that accompanies the Vespucci's world tour and is taking place at Marina Bay October 24 to 28, will host a discussion entitled 'Italy meets Singapore, what they say about us' (L'Italia incontra Singapore, dicono di noi) with Deputy Business and Made in Italy Minister Valentino Valentini taking part.
ANSA CEO Stefano De Alessandri will also be on the stage.
It will be an opportunity to exchange opinions about Italy's image in Singapore and viceversa, with a careful eye on the bilateral relations between the two countries.
The Forum, which takes place on Friday at 18:30 (12:30 Italian time) and will be available live via streaming on ANSA.it, will feature the participation of representatives of Singapore's economic, research, media and culture sectors for an open debate about Made in Italy and what ideas to propose for the further, beneficial cooperation.
Charity Cheah, an entrepreneur and co-founder of Toni&Guy Italia, Federico Donato, the ex-presidente of Eurocham Singapore, Cecilia Laschi, the director of the National University of Singapore's robotics department, Huang Eu Chai, the director of Ergo Travel, and Agata Grimaldi, ANSA's Singapore contributor will take part in the event at Villaggio Italia's Ministry Lounge.
The guests will present their experiences and opinions about how Italian people, Italy and its products are viewed in Singapore.
On the occasion of the Vespucci stop in Singapore and the event on October 25, ANSA will also present a digital photographic exhibition that, through a hundred images, aims to represent a cross-section of Italy and its excellences as well as tell the story of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
