Pope Francis on Friday said both US
presidential hopefuls Donald Trump and Kamala Harrus were
"against life", the former for his hardline immigration stance
and the latter for her pro-abortion stance, and said America
must choose "the lesser of two evils" on November 5.
Speaking on his flight back to Rome from a 12-day Indo-Pacicic
tour, Francis said: "Both are against life, both the one who
throws out migrants and the one who kills children.
"Throwing away migrants, not giving them the ability to work,
not giving migrants welcome is a sin, it is serious,".and, on
abortion. "it is killing a human being. You don't like the word?
But it is killing".
He concluded: "In modern politics it is generally said that not
to vote is bad: it is not good, you have to vote and you have to
choose the lesser evil".
