The Ambassador of Italy to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Marilina Armellin, met today with the Punjab police chief, Usman Anwar, accompanied by the Honorary Consul of Italy in Lahore, Fahad Iqbal, and the State Police expert, Costantino Scudieri.
There are many areas of cooperation between Italy and the federated province of Punjab, where the vast majority of the Pakistani community living in Italy comes from: fighting terrorism, combating international drug trafficking, exchanging best practices in the management of public order and international judicial cooperation. The two sides agreed to continue to deepen cooperation in fields of mutual and growing interest.
