Vavassori lost the Australian Open men's doubles final
7-6(18/16) 6-7(7/5) 3-6 to the pairing made up of Finland's
Harri Heliovaara and Britain's Henry Patten in Melbourne on
Saturday after over three hours of combat.
Bolelli and Vavassori were also defeated in the Australian Open
final last year and they faltered at the final hurdle in the
2024 French Open too.
