Pope Francis said on Holocaust
remembrance Day Monday that there should be no more
anti-Semitism.
"Let us forcefully reaffirm today that the seeds of
anti-Semitism must never again be allowed to take root in the
human heart," he said on X.
"Remembering the suffering and tears of the victims of the
Holocaust, let us repeat: never again!"
In another post on his @Pontifex profile in nine languages, also
Monday, the Argentine pontiff reiterated what he said Sunday at
the Angelus: "The horror of the extermination of millions of
Jewish people can neither be forgotten nor denied. We also
remember so many Christians, including numerous martyrs. Let us
all work together to eradicate the scourge of anti-Semitism,
together with every form of religious persecution".
