Marc Marquez of the Ducati factory
team continued his hot form on Saturday, taking pole position
for the MotoGP Grand Prix of the Americas in Austin, Texas.
The six-time MotoGP champion also started in pole position for
the first two Grands Prix of the season and won them both, along
with the sprint races.
The front row of the grid will be dominated by Ducatis with
Fabio Di Giannantonio of the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team
and Marquez's brother Alex Marquez of BK8 Gresini Racing
completing it.
Marquez's teammate, Italy's two-time MotoGP world champion
Francesco Bagnaia, will start in sixth place on the grid behind
Pedro Acosta (Red Bull KTM) and Franco Morbidelli (Pertamina
Enduro VR46).
