The Economic and Financial Police
Unit of the tax police of Milan closed, in April 2024 but it was
only learned Tuesday, a tax audit of Twitter, the social network
now of Elon Musk and become X, for a failure to pay VAT of 12.5
million euros per year until 2022, judicial sources said.
At the same time, the Milan Public Prosecutor's Office, with the
prosecutor Giovanni Polizzi, has opened an investigation for tax
evasion.
The case is similar to that of an investigation into Meta, said
the sources.
