A 53-year-old Italian girls'
volleyball coach was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of sexually
abusing several underage players.
The alleged incidents allegedly occurred during training
sessions or after matches, police in Varese north of Milan said.
The investigation began in November 2024 after a complaint from
one of the girls.
Carbinieri said their investigations had obtained "concrete
evidence" of the man's abuse of the players, aged between 13 and
16.
